Kiran Desai Interview

I came across Brick, a Canadian literary journal, at the bookstore. What particularly caught my eye was the interview with Kiran Desai. The website has just a little piece of it; I found the interview indepth with a nice flow. She discusses her own life, a bit about her mother and family, growing up in different places and how all these experiences influenced her writing.

Brick proved to be a wise and surprising investment for me as I looked further and found articles by Pico Iyer and Michael Ondaatje with Nigerian writer Chimamanda Adichie, among other articles about poetry and literature.

So, if you can get a copy of this on your own, do it -- I'm not lending mine!!
