'And The World Changed'

And the World Changed: Contemporary stories by Pakistani women edited by Muneeza Shamsie's is now available in India (published by Women Unlimited). It's so great to see that there are so many female Pakistani writers alone that they fill an anthology. A review in Outlook India.

Any such collection risks highlighting cliched ‘womanly’ sensibilities at the expense of good literature. This is that rare collection of good fiction by writers who happen to be women from Pakistan.
