Kriti Festival Registration Rates Going Up! August 1st deadline!

On August 1st, we'll be raising our rates, so you only have a few days left to register for Kriti at the low, low pre-registration rate of only $20 ($15 for students/seniors) for an entire, fun-filled weekend of S. Asian literary pleasures in Chicago, November 11-13th!

Just a few of our thrilling activities include:

- panels and readings with exciting authors, such as Chitra Divakaruni, Vijay Prashad, Rukhsana Khan, one of the authors of Badmash, Abha Dawesar, Meera Nair, Shailja Patel, Mira Kamdar, Uma Krishnaswami, and many more
- writing workshops led by our illustrious panelists
- storytelling from our children's lit authors
- academic presentations from noted professors
- a series of short South Asian films
- discussion and workshop on politics and writing, hosted by SAPAC
- performances by Mango Tribe and Rasaka Theater
- bhangra lessons and an open bhangra dance
- more samosas and chai than you can shake a stick at

Kriti is presented in collaboration with the Chicago Humanities Festival, Roosevelt University, Northwestern University Law School, DePaul University, The University of Chicago, 3rd I Films, the Asian American Artists' Collective of Chicago, and Rasaka Theater.
