Rushdie as Art Dealer
Sometimes I think dear Salman would provide enough content for a daily blog, all by himself...
The Booker prize winner who tried his hand at being an art dealer by agreeing to mind the PaceWildenstein booth at The Art Show, led publicists to predict a change of interests. They even claimed that in just two minutes, with little help from art adviser Kim Heirston, Rushdie managed to sell an abstract stone sculpture by Isamu Noguchi for six figures.
Not actually what happened, according to Rushdie...
