Bookless in Baghdad

Shashi Tharoor's latest, Bookless in Baghdad, sounds fabulous - it's a collection of his essays on books and reading.

The great title comes from a piece about a "book souk" he visits in Baghdad, where people who owned books when they were well-to-do are now selling them in order to live.

It's out in India, and will be coming out elsewhere in July. Can't wait!
