Submissions

PLEASE read our "Guidelines" below before submitting! We will not consider irrelevant, inappropriate submissions. There HAS to be a South Asian connection.

Our editors are not monitoring their email boxes closely right now, but you may submit contributions at any time. Please do not expect responses regarding the acceptability of your piece except closer to our submission deadline.

We review submissions very closely only during our editing period, which falls right after (you guessed it!) our official submissions deadline. Please stay tuned for the exact date and other details regarding that.

We are currently not considering submissions for Issue 7. We are on a short break and will resume accepting submissions in the near future.

Please note that due to the number of submissions we receive, if it is obvious that you have not bothered to even read our general submission guidelines below before shooting off an email with your submission, then we cannot really guarantee a reply. It's a sheer waste of our volunteer time.

Guidelines

Submissions must be either about South Asia and the diaspora, or be by submitters from South Asia* or the diaspora.

* South Asia is defined as Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, The Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka
