Born 1982, Mahesh Patidar received a BE in Electronics and Communication in 2005. He delved in art from very young age and continued it with his technical education and studies.

Patidar's main strength lies in his color combinations, designs, and lines. His childlike sensibilities are moved and shaped by rich colors, human figures, and philosophical ideas. His work is figurative and has geometric qualities and simple shapes. His paintings are dominated by illustrative style and dramatic background. He subtly amalgamates the forms and function of human relations with sophistication and sensuality.

He has had four solo shows: Museum Gallery, Mumbai (2006), India Habitat Centre, New Delhi (2005), Nehru Centre, Mumbai (2004), Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur (2004). Mahesh Patidar lives and works in Delhi.
